Try it step by step
- Open the Room 301 handover. Play the recording if you want to hear the source first.
- Choose Load model and wait for Ready, then choose Transcribe audio.
- Read the transcript while listening. Correct names, numbers, times and commitments in the result.
- Copy or download the reviewed text, or choose your own short English PCM16 WAV file.
What does transcription do?
The tool converts spoken English into a draft transcript. In the Lab, you can edit the result and export the text after checking it against the recording.
It does not create a task, assign an employee or confirm that work is complete. Those actions need agreed rules and connections in a company implementation.
What should the next shift be able to trust?
Check who or what the note refers to, which work is complete and what remains to be done. In the Room 301 recording, the filter replacement and the temperature check are different states.
A transcript can mishear a room number or time. Review those details before they become an instruction. Silence, noise and overlapping speech can also produce poor text.
Questions about voice notes
Can I use a phone voice note?
This tool accepts PCM16 WAV files. Export recordings in other formats to WAV first; MP3 and M4A are not accepted here.
Does it identify speakers or translate?
This version transcribes short English recordings. It does not label speakers or translate speech.
Can it write directly into our work system?
A company project can add review, the right record destination and a controlled write. The Lab exports text for you to use.
Specifications
Model: Whisper tiny.en. The browser version accepts PCM16 WAV, mono or stereo, at 8–48 kHz. Each file is limited to 5 MiB and 60 seconds.
The first model and runtime download is approximately 72 MB plus app files. Loading starts when you choose Load model. Your recording and transcript stay in this browser tab; there is no upload or cloud fallback.
